Based on the original 1990 release, this Air Jordan 5 Retro from 2013 features a predominantly white leather upper with a purple tongue. Featuring purple and turquoise accents on the midsole, the signature Air Jordan 5 shark-tooth detailing is contrasted with an ice-blue outsole. 

By the time the Jordan 5 premiered in 1990, the Jordan line of sneakers was a household name and its release was widely anticipated.
